I wanted to say that they are a diamond in the rough but that would be an incorrect statement. These guys don’t need any polishing and will easily wreck the mic. They are two down to earth dudes who are trying to get their foot in the door in the music business.
Unfinished Man: So guys, why don’t you tell us a little bit about yourself and your up bringing?
BB & G-Wize: We’re both best friends who’ve known each other since high school from middle class families. Rapping was something we used to do for fun when we were young, B was the producer/instrumental composer, and G was the main guy who was rapping at the time. Both of us kind of got real good at it, impressing people at talent shows and other venues.. eventually this turned into something we really loved to do and here we are hoping to make something big out of all this.
UM: Boriz and Gamada, how did you guys end up with stage name BB & G-Wize?
I’m the type of man that likes a little bit of sophistication to the movies I watch, and the music I listen to. There’s something immensely satisfying about experiencing something that takes a little bit of thought and interpretation.

For those of you who are not familiar with Daniel Wesley, you’re about to be. Daniel Wesley is a rocker from British Columbia with a reggae twist. He has several albums under his belt and has just recently dropped his latest album, Easy Livin’.We had an opportunity to interview him and I suggest you crank up some of his tunes, sit back, and enjoy.
Unfinished Man: Who are your major influences in the music industry and your personal life?
Daniel Wesley: My wife and family. Musicians that have had long diverse careers like Tom Petty and Neil Young.
UM: Are you currently signed to a record label? Are you a member of any music organizations?
Daniel: I’m signed to 604 records and a member of SOCAN.
UM: What are your favorite venues in the Vancouver area that you have performed at?
Daniel: Stanley Park – Brokton Point and the Commodore Ballroom.
We still have a couple of months remaining in this year but I think it’s safe to give the 2012 Dumbass of the Year Award to Mr. Bladimir Barreto! My mom taught me not to laugh at other peoples’ misery but I think this little “stunt” deserves a big laugh and maybe a bit of sympathy.
