A guy needs guidance to become the weasel-smashing, beer-swilling, tree-chopping, bacon-eating speciman (you see what I did there?) that all fellows aspire to be. The fifties and sixties were a golden age of comically delineated gender roles, and frankly, we all have an innate desire to reflect some of that shiny, sexy perfection even if we don’t really agree with most of what was happening.
