Finally, it’s here! I heard about the leak of this Dark Knight Rises trailer days ago and was itching to post it up. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t find a copy that wasn’t completely unwatchable. That all changes today, though, and if you haven’t had a chance to see this yet, you’re in for a real treat. Crank up the volume, set the video to maximum resolution, and enjoy the show. The trailer does an excellent job of conveying the mood and happenings of Gotham City, and you may just notice some similarities to particular Wall Street related events that we’ve all heard so much about in the media lately.

I think it’s safe to say that Christopher Nolan has made a splash these last few years with the release of Inception, and of course of his ever popular Batman movies. Nolan handled the daunting task of rebooting the series, and unbelievably, he didn’t fuck it up. Nolan is exceptionally talented, but to take a series which was previously slap stick and silly and re-imagine it as modern, gritty, and believable, well… color me impressed.
The Dark Knight Rises arrives in theaters nation wide next summer.
