At the very end of the last millennium, I spent a year in Asia, traveling and enjoying the diverse cultures of the continent. And since I’m a big car fan, obviously I took notice of some of the cool cars that we don’t get in North America. My favorites were the big SUV’s with massive tires and huge fender flares, and out of the SUV’s, the Nissan Patrol was at the top of my list of sweet rides. Of course, back then we didn’t get the Patrol here in North America, the Patrol is still not available here but its rebadged sibling, the Infiniti QX is available.

Porsche 911 GT3
The Porsche 911 is one of my favorite sports cars, and the latest generation (code named 991) cars are by far my favorite of the 911 cars that have been in production for 50 years. And within the 991 generation, I’d have to say the all-new 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 is nicest design, in my opinion. Of course, my opinion will change when the 911 Turbo comes out, but who knows. I really like the face of the GT3; it’s very friendly looking without being too cutesy or cheesy, if you know what I mean.

Ernie’s Dwarf Cars – Miniature American Classic Cars
Here’s an awesome character who I could talk to for days, Ernie Adams from Maricopa, Arizona. You see, Ernie is one of those people that would rather spend the time to build something with their own hands than go to a store and pick it up off the shelf. Some of his most incredible creations are his famous Dwarf Cars.
Ernie lived close to the city dump and collected lots of scrap materials like steel, aluminum, zinc, tires and wheels, furniture, and everything else you can think of and find at the dump. He used all that material to build these beautiful Dwarf Cars, all by hand and from scrap materials.
