The security device uses a system of hinges and angles as seen above. The horizontal force that is exerted on the door from the outside is converted into a vertical force which anchors the DoorJammer firmly into the ground. This method prevents the door from moving horizontally as well as upward direction which increases the DoorJammer’s grip and reduces the chances of its foot slipping on the floor.
At the end of the hinged leg is an adjustable foot which allows the DoorJammer to be installed on a floor that is either flat or inclined.
