The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is probably the best bang for the buck sports car currently available, it’s THE American sports car and it looks pretty darn sexy too. The Z06 is version of the car is also another great deal and is aimed at people that need more power and track performance. The Z06 is basically the street legal version of the Corvette C7 R race car.
Chevrolet wants to make sure everyone knows where the Z06 comes from (the race track), so they’re releasing a limited number of special edition cars called the Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition.
The Z06 C7.R Edition is limited to only 500 units, which means it’s going to sell out quickly and for a lot more than the MSRP, the car will go on sale later in the year. The special package includes yellow paint from the race car (black is also available), a special graphics package, carbon fiber pieces on the hood and the grill, carbon ceramic brakes, black wheels with a yellow stripe, and yellow calipers. The interior gets minor upgrades with black leather seats and yellow stitching and suede on the doors and steering wheel.
