Once upon a time, I wrote a little article about making breakfast just a little more interesting. I eat eggs for breakfast almost every morning, and sprinkling on a bit of salt and pepper just wasn’t cutting it anymore.
Eventually, I found the solution: spices.
They’re simple, inexpensive, and make a world of difference. I can say with all sincerity that my breakfasts were forever improved after this little “discovery.” But the question is, which spices, sauces, or flavorings should a person use?
Bandar is Boss
Maybe it’s just my obsession with monkeys, but I don’t think that’s likely. No, I believe that Bandar – in particular the Spicy Mango Chili Sauce – may very well be the best, most versatile sauce I’ve ever tried. I’m not ashamed to say that I squirt a bit of this stuff on pretty much everything I eat.
Bandar was created by Lalit Kalani and Dan Garblik, two students that became good friends in grad school and decided to get into the sauce and snack making business. There’s a bit more to it than that, but I’ll let them explain.
The point here is that this stuff is absolutely amazing and I don’t care if I sound like a giant shill. It’s vegan, gluten free, delicious, and you can order it right from their website. You can also pick it up at various stores across the US and Canada, which is the way that my girlfriend found it.
I came for the monkey, and stayed for the taste.
Wait… that doesn’t sound… oh, forget it, you filthy pervert. Just try some of this sauce, you won’t regret it.
