I wasn’t a fan of this when I first saw it. It seemed pretty useless to me, but for some odd reason I’m starting to like it. It’s probably because of the ridiculous picture above and mental images of drunken friends burning my whole town house complex down.
The outdoor fireplace is called ‘Zero’ for its “O” shaped design and made by the design company AK47. The Zero fireplace features a central pit for the fire and is surrounded by a wood panel for sitting on around the flame. Under the seating area, storage area is provided for extra fire wood.
I was recently introduced to the wonderful world of Buben & Zorweg and their amazing accessories for watches that any true (millionaire) watch collector must have. I wrote about their “Treasury” watch safe/display case and today I bring you yet another watch display case with a built-in safe and watch winders.
Buben & Zorweg’s latest creation is called the Grand Collector Inbuilt and unlike the Treasury, this one is more on the inconspicuous side. The front of the case is covered with a two-way mirror, giving no clues to the expensive watches that are sitting behind the glass. With the touch of a button, a large number of LED lights can be turned on to show the watches in the case in all their glory. Placing this watch case/safe/winder in a wardrobe next to a mirror or building an entire wardrobe around it would make it a perfect spot to keep your watches safe and keep them away from unwanted attention.
Earlier this year I had an opportunity to visit a place I had never heard of to partake in an adventure of the Indiana Jones variety. Among other things, I spent four days in the heart of the Belizean jungle with only a guide, a pack full of water, and a machete. But I’m getting a bit ahead of myself here. This entire crazy adventure started at a small lodge called Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch in the jungles of Belize. Ian Anderson is a Canadian ex-pat who visited Belize, fell in love, and opened his own adventure company there. I mean, why not, right?
