Money Shredding Alarm Clock

Money-Shredding-Alarm-Clock

Are you the type of person that keeps hitting the snooze button every time the alarm goes off?  While you do get a bit of extra sleep, you’re most likely in a major rush when you do finally decide to get up and then not have enough time for breakfast and a shower.  You’re not only going to be hungry but you are also going stink when you do finally get to work.

We may have a solution for you; check out this alarm clock that shreds money if you don’t get up in time to stop it.  I don’t know about you, I like money and would gladly jump out of bed on time to avoid my precious benjamins from being shredded to pieces.  Don’t go running to your local gadget store though, this is a gag product and only a concept but clever nonetheless.

Chad cutting his nails with the Design Go Nail Clippers

The Best Nail Clippers On The Market? Design Go Travel Nail Clippers

I was travelling through Europe recently, and by the time I got to Switzerland I realized that I had a real problem on my hands. When a person travels, inevitably they forget a thing or two, but what I had forgotten to bring was extremely important to the safety of both myself and everyone around me. What I had forgotten… was my nail clippers.

Looking around, careful not to stab any passersby with my dagger like fingernails, I eventually picked up the Design Go Travel Nail Clippers at the hostel we were staying at. After having used them, I can safely say that

Traxxas X0 1 RC Car 1 e1323153903497

Traxxas X0-1: 100 MPH RC Car

The Traxxas X0-1 is one of the fastest RC cars in the world and is the fastest out of the box RC car.  The X0-1 can hit a top speed of 100 mph, which is pretty damn fast especially for a remote control car that you don’t need to “hack” or mess around with.

According to the company, the X0-1 is not a toy car and is intended for experts only; it carries a risk of fire, injury, or worse, death!  Traxxas suggests using the car on a closed course, like a race track or a drag strip.  I can see the X0-1 taking out a few toes if you race it at full speed with people around, especially if you’re doing it in your living room.

High-Tech Camping – The BioLite CampStove

People go camping to get away from the city and for the most part – leave a lot of their fancy high-tech gadgets at home as most camp sites don’t have electricity. But wouldn’t it be pretty sweet if you could use the heat from a fire to charge your gadgets such as phones or tablets? I think so!

The BioLite CampStove does just that. Not only does it heat your food but charges your device(s). The heat generated from the stove is converted into electricity and you are able to charge various devices with a USB connection. Using heat to produce electricity is not the only cool feature the BioLite CampStove has to offer.

The Dyson DC43 Animal – Review

A few weeks ago I moved into a new apartment, and as with any apartment that’s been previously occupied, this one was a mess. The walls were scratched, the cupboards were greasy, and the floor was covered in dust, dirt, and the type of debris that one doesn’t want to investigate too closely. In short, it was disgusting. To make matters even worse, the vacuum I had was garbage. Thankfully, my vacuum situation dramatically improved about a week ago when I was offered the new Dyson DC43 “Animal” vacuum to review. I’ve had heard that Dyson makes pretty amazing vacuums, and I decided to put that to the test.

Though “unfortunately” I had long since cleared the floors of the original debris, the movement of furniture and the pitter patter of my feet across the floors generated quite a bit of additional dirt as I

flint striker paracord survival bracelet

Fire Starter Paracord Survival Bracelet by Bison Designs

For someone who enjoys collecting and yes – sometimes even using – survival gear, little trinkets like this are hard to resist. Unfortunately, I haven’t had an opportunity to try this out yet, but this flint and steel paracord survival bracelet from Bison Designs is just too cool to wait on.

What you see is another not-so-typical survival bracelet, in the vein of the paracord bracelet with handcuff key I previously wrote about. You can’t use this to pick the locks on handcuff keys, but from what I’ve read, it’s pretty handy for starting a fire. Even more important than the fire starter, or the lengthy piece of 550 paracord used to make the bracelet, is the
