This post is dedicated to all you bacon lovers.  In the past, we brought you two bacon infested recipes: the bacon-wrapped eggs and bacon-wrapped chicken, which are sure to please your palate. Today, we’ll show you a few examples of regular items which have been blessed with bacon. If you are impressed and willing to purchase at least a couple of the items below, it’s safe to say you are a bacon addict and may need help.

Bacon Scented Hand Soap

Wake up in the morning, take a shower, and clean up with bacon scented hand soap? That’s right! What an excellent way to start off the day and prepare  for breakfast.

Back in August, I wrote about a group of hardcore Taco Bell fans that pretty much dedicated their entire free time to a very important cause. The main goal of the movement was to bring back a discontinued item which according to Burrito experts is one of the best menu items Taco Bell has ever offered in its 49 year history. This menu item that I speak of is the ‘Beefy Crunch Burrito’.

Through the power of social media and consumer loyalty, Taco Bell fans have been able to achieve their goal. Taco Bell and 3 Million Fans have officially announced the return of the Beefy Crunch Burrito. Richard Axton, the brains behind the 3 Million Fans movement was invited to Taco Bell headquarters in Irvine, CA and told about the great news in person.

I almost didn’t make it through typing the title of this article, because I got distracted by “I like my women like I like my five minute fudge” jokes. If you’re laughing as hard as I am, congratulations, you’re an insensitive asshole! As such, you likely effed up on this whole Christmas thing and have a day to come up with something thoughtful that doesn’t involve mall fistfights and empty bank accounts. Even if you aren’t, it stands to reason that there are a lot of you in this situation. What if I told you you could make exceptionally thoughtful, super impressive delicious homemade fudge from two ingredients in five minutes? While drinking a beer?! This, dear friends, is a completely plausible Christmas miracle. Five minute fudge is even darker and sweeter and easier than… Well, easier than staying focused, anyhow.

It’s that time of year again. Hopscotch, Vancouver’s premium whisky, beer, and spirit festival is making its way to delivery an annual examination that tests the limits of our livers. There’s tons in store for this week’s festivities, so to kick off our series of articles we just couldn’t turn down to check out what Glenfiddich had prepared for the premiere.

It’s fast, easy, delicious, and versatile.  I really wish I invented this idea; I imagine raunchy ads emblazoned with the perfect tag line: “get Skit-faced and puke the rainbow,” resulting in trillions of dollars, and me living out my life lounging in an orange-flavored pool surrounded by constantly tipsy models, living off a permanent buzz through osmosis. In any case, we stumbled across this brilliant idea in a number of DIY forums while mulling over affordable gifts for the holidays. Since no man wants to crochet personalized doilies, the idea of giving the gift of booze was an instant winner. We’ve documented the whole process for you so you too can get blasted in technicolor.

Bacon flavored products seem to have gained some popularity over the last couple of years and a few fine examples include Bacon Air Inhaler, Bacon Lube, Bacon Cologne, Bacon Toothpaste, and a bunch of other crazy bacon products.

Jones Soda makes limited products every year and they’ve released their own version of Bacon Soda in the past. But you can never have too much of this meat soda and a little competition never hurts. Many would even go as far as saying that bacon soda is liquid heaven.

It is said you know you live a life of luxury, when you poison yourself for recreation. And god knows, I came close this year thanks to great people, like Executive Director Adam Bloch, who organize and participate every year at Hopscotch Festival in Vancouver. Going on 18 years strong, there’s little sign of slowing down. As cliché as it to describe my joy as a ‘kid in a candy store’, I was smiling from ear to ear, all day and all night long.
