This is the extended version of the Paths of Hate trailer, a film which I had never heard of, by a director whom I didn’t know existed. After watching this footage, I can safely say that that’s a shame on both counts. You see, I’m not usually one for animated films. When a person tells me that I should watch a trailer of such and such animated film, my mind immediately drifts towards visions of anime girls with big saucer eyes and giant tears and tentacles and that sort of thing. It’s a bad habit, and if there are more films like Paths of Hate, then clearly my prejudice is
Entertainment
Entertainment covers movies, television, gaming, music, books, trailers, internet culture, celebrity interviews, viral videos, and the strange corners of pop culture men actually talk about. From Hollywood blockbusters to cult classics and ridiculous online moments, this is where Unfinished Man sorts the good, the bad, and the hilariously overhyped.
Beyond The Black Rainbow – Dr. Mercurio Arboria’s Institute of Insanity
One of my friends recently sent me a link to a trailer for a film I’ve never heard of called Beyond The Black Rainbow. The title doesn’t gave away much, and other than a vague notion of something artsy and perhaps vaguely related to Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon, I had no idea what to expect. Well, I’ve watched the trailer multiple times now with the intention of trying to understand what’s going on, and if anything I’m more confused than ever. This is one of the few times that I’m

Street Beatz 2.0 – Sweet Beats by Trygve Stakkeland
We’ve got an amazing readership here at Unfinished Man. You guys leave great comments, you’re always emailing us with suggestions for things to check out, and most importantly – most most of what you guys send us is pretty damn awesome; thank you! Maybe hold off on the Russian bride stuff, but anything else is fair game.
So on that note, here’s a video that one of our readers suggested we check out by filmmaker and music composer Trygve Stakkeland. It’s called Street Beatz 2.0, and it’s basically a handful of beats performed in various places around Stavanger, Norway. It’s a simple but interesting clip, and the
Fire In The Hole – Man Drops Firecracker Down Manhole
The Chinese are responsible for inventing gunpowder and you’d think that they would have experimented with all the possible dangers of playing with this stuff. You know, like dropping a firecracker down a manhole which is full of gases.
Because nobody was seriously injured, I watched and laughed my ass off multiple times. The video clip below takes place in Xiangtan, China featuring a not so smart father and two very traumatized children. Perhaps this was a science fair experiment for the kids. Check out the video after the jump.
