Bell & Ross Harley-Davidson Custom Bike

Bell-Ross-Harley-Davidson-Motorcycle-Side

Known for their watches, Bell & Ross have teamed up with motorcycle makers Harley-Davidson for a one off (hideous-looking) custom bike.  With this bike you get worst of both worlds: Bell & Ross make some pretty ugly watches and Harley-Davidson is still fooling people into buying 1950’s technology.

The one-off motorcycle is based on the Harley-Davidson FXSTB Softail Nightrain and is designed to look like a café racer.  It features a Bell & Ross watch planted on the fuel tank on top of a machined piece of aluminum.  Since this an H-D bike, plenty of vibration is to be expected, which should keep the Bell & Ross watch wound at all times, if it’s an automatic piece.

Ducati Monster Diesel Edition

Ducati Monster Diesel Edition

No, this Ducati Monster is not powered by a diesel engine!  The Ducati Monster Diesel Edition motorcycle is a special edition Monster 1100 EVO that celebrates the Italian clothing company Diesel’s sponsorship of the Ducati MotoGP team.

The special edition Monster is painted in matte olive green which the company is calling “urban military chic” and features a matte black frame.  The front brake calipers are finished in yellow and a Diesel logo is stitched onto the leather seat.  The fuel tank features a laser etched Diesel Mohican logo and a

There was a time when you wanted to stand out from the crowd or be a “rebel”, you’d get a Harley Davidson motorcycle, but those days are long gone. HD motorcycles are too mainstream, and many middle aged men going through mid-life crisis have these bikes.  If you really want to stand out, you should check out Janus Motorcycles. Janus is a brand new motorcycle company based out of Goshen, Indiana.  The company is

subwing and man underwater

Explore The Ocean Floor With Subwing

First there was cruising above the surface of the water with the Jetlev R200, and then came the not so cool Aquaskipper, where you use human power to propel yourself across the surface of the water in a very lame looking contraption.

And now we have the Subwing, where you get to glide under water as a dolphin would. It’s basically a small wing you hold on to while being pulled along by a boat. The Subwing allows you to move sideways, twist, and even dive. Based on what I saw in the video below, one could hurt themselves if not careful. But then again, that can apply to anything.

Top Gear The Cool 500 Cars Book

Top Gear – “The Cool 500: The Coolest Cars Ever Made” Book

I can’t remember the last time I read an entire book; as I got older, I lost patience for the long-winded descriptions authors use to describe the simplest of things.  There are however, some books I don’t mind “reading”, like Top Gear’s “The Cool 500: The Coolest Cars Ever Made”.

The book is a must have (notice, I didn’t say “must read”) for any car fan.  The book features some of the coolest cars every produced, with amazing photography that’s signature Top Gear.  The book not only includes pictures, but in-depth commentary on the cars and all the technical information that should keep one busy for a very long time, if they’re into reading that sort of things.
