2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale

2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Superbike

Ducati keeps producing one hot bike after another; just releasing information on the all-new Ducati 1199 Panigale.  The 1199 Panigale will be made public on November 10 at EICMA, the 69th Milan motorcycle show will be held from November 10 to 13, 2011.

The Ducati 1199 Panigale is not only lighter than the 1198 but also packs a bigger punch.  The superbike is powered by the Superquadro twin-cylinder engine that produces 195 horsepower, 20 more than the standard 1198.  The 1199 weighs in at 361 pounds, 22 pounds lighter than the 1198.  This thing should be a hoot to rip around on some twisty roads.

2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale R Superbike

Ducati introduces the all-new 2013 1199 Panigale R superbike, which is a step above the 1199 Panigale S model introduced last year.

The 1199 Panigale S was powered by a 195 horsepower V-Twin engine which has been tweaked for the R version and now revs to an incredible 12,000 rpm (up 500 rpm).  Although Ducati didn’t say anything about increase in horsepower, I’m thinking the bike might hit 200 HP?

Coming To America: 2015 Yamaha SR400

As much as I like sports bikes, there is just something very special about the looks of classic motorcycles from the 60’s and 70’s that draws …

subwing and man underwater

Explore The Ocean Floor With Subwing

First there was cruising above the surface of the water with the Jetlev R200, and then came the not so cool Aquaskipper, where you use human power to propel yourself across the surface of the water in a very lame looking contraption.

And now we have the Subwing, where you get to glide under water as a dolphin would. It’s basically a small wing you hold on to while being pulled along by a boat. The Subwing allows you to move sideways, twist, and even dive. Based on what I saw in the video below, one could hurt themselves if not careful. But then again, that can apply to anything.
