2014 LaFerrai

The Ferrari LaFerrari

The Ferrari Enzo supercar was one of the most technically advanced cars when it was first introduced, over a decade ago.  Over the years a lot of the “lesser” exotic cars have caught up to the performance figures of the Enzo and that only means one thing; time for a new Ferrari supercar.  The Enzo replacement is called the Ferrari “LaFerrari”, in other words, the car is called “The Ferrari The Ferrari”… hmm… kind of reminds me of “The La Trattoria” from one of my favorite movies, Mickey Blue Eyes.

Jaguar Project 7 Concept 1

Jaguar Project 7 Concept – Inspired by the D-Type

Jaguar has been on a roll lately, introducing some pretty sweet cars; the latest car to come out of their workshop is the Jaguar Project 7 Concept.  The car is homage to the D-Type race car which was produced from 1954 to 1957 and won the 24 Hours of Le Mans race three times.  The name “Project 7” pays tribute to the company’s 7 – 24 Hours of Le Mans wins between 1951 and 1990.

The Project 7 is a design study and won’t make it into a production model (at least for now).  The car is based on the very popular Jaguar F-Type convertible, turned into a speedster.
