Disgusting Yet Cool – Cyclists Shot at 1000 FPS (Video)

The video of these cyclists is cool and the work they do is even cooler. A group of cyclists, the Fireflies, are committed to raising money for Leuka, a charity that supports Research and Treatment for Leukemia in London. The group rides the most grueling climbs of the Tour de France every year in an effort to raise funding and awareness.

The video is produced by Chris Cairns and features a number of riders being recorded at 1000 frames per second as they cycle. Sweat, spit, and snot – this video has it all. As disgusting as the snot is in the video, it’s still pretty cool to watch the facial expressions in such slow motion. The only thing missing is my 3D glasses.
