700HP Twin-Charged Ariel Atom by DDMWorks

The Ariel Atom in its stock form is one hell of a beast. The super light weight Atom can reach 0-60mph in only 2.9 seconds! If that isn’t enough to satisfy your need for speed, perhaps the Ariel Atom 500 featuring a 500hp 3.0-liter John Hartley V8 launching the vehicle from 0-60 in under 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 175mph.

Although stupid fast, there are folks out there who beg to differ. DDMWorks in South Carolina for example, decided to twin-charge the Ariel Atom 2. Yes, they turbocharged and a supercharged the car allowing it to produce an astonishing 700 horsepower.

With the car weighing in only at 1,450 lbs, the car has a power to weight ratio of 2.07 lbs per horsepower which is lower than cars such as the Bugatti Veyron.

In order to lay down some rubber on the road, DDMWorks put on custom 17×9 wheels wrapped in 275mm wide tires in the rear. DDMWorks offers its clients three upgrade options for the Ariel Atom 2. The first is a very respectable 450hp, the ridiculous 575hp is the second option, and of course the third option is the insane 700hp upgrade package.
