Xmera Bionic Bike: Retro Cafe Racer Hybrid e-Bike

Today, the automotive industry is changing and people are becoming more aware of their environmental surroundings and the damage cars are causing. More and more people are starting to bike to work and more automobile companies are designing electric cars. There is a push to save our environment and try to reduce our gas emissions. One of my favorite and more affordable modes of transportation today is electrical bikes. But what’s even cooler than an electric bike is Xmera’s bionic Bike.

The Xmera bionic bike has a unique look and is a combination of a bicycle, motorcycle, and a work out machine. Not only does it have a different look, this bike comes with a BPM (beats per minute) sensor that tracks your heart rate, your distance traveled, and calories burned. The designers developed this technology so that the rider can achieve their own workout routine. They can set their desired BPM and the bike will automatically adjust the pedal assist levels to maintain that BPM. The rider can choose different workout modes that suits their needs, such as fat burn or cardio sessions. You can also connect your smart watch or smart phone via Bluetooth to get a detailed analysis once finished. Xmera also has their own app so all your workouts can be tracked.

Xmera also includes a GPS location tracking feature, IOT Tracking Technology, so you can keep track of your bike and know its location at all times and an emergency contact function that texts or calls in case of an accident.

The Xmera bionic e-bike comes in two models: 750W with a maximum speed of 20 mph/32 km/h or the 250W with a maximum speed of 16 mph/25 km/h. The battery range for both bikes is 36 miles (60 km) to 124 miles (200 km). You can also get a backup battery which allows for some extra mileage.

Currently, this bike is a prototype and the company has already surpassed their target for funding. They still have lots of discounts available on Indiegogo on various bike packages.
