One of the most important elements of losing weight and getting fit is consistency, and the only way you’ll work out and eat well consistently is if you’re feeling motivated. That’s why it’s so useful to use a visual height weight chart to see what you could look like when you hit your ideal weight target. It’s a visual aid to guide your progress.
Unfortunately, most of these tools designed to help you visualize your ideal BMI at different heights and weights are quite terrible. So I went ahead and tried them all and here’s the result…
Where can I find a visual height weight chart?
What I would recommend is using this site and looking at the chart with pictures of people at different heights and weights and setting an end goal for yourself. Setting a celebrity as your target is fine too, but I find it a bit less motivating. I think it’s because deep down I know that they can afford a full time personal trainer and nutritionist, which I assure you I cannot. I’m guessing you’re probably in a similar position.
Once you’ve picked out your target to emulate, continue on with the exercise and nutritional plan you’ve chosen and simply look at the person you’re emulating every few days to help motivate yourself.
I know this sounds absolutely absurd, but what do you have to lose? I mean, other than the weight.
Once you get this visualization technique under your belt, I think you’ll realize that it’s useful for many aspects of your life, whether it’s losing weight, getting strong, or working towards becoming a powerful lawyer.
You can’t get somewhere if you don’t even know where you’re going, and since we’re such visual creatures, a picture of what you want to look like can make the difference between success and failure.
