Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Aviator – Inspired by a Seaplane

When you’re living the billionaire lifestyle, owning just an “average” Rolls-Royce coupe isn’t enough to help you stand out from the crowd.  You need a car like the limited edition Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Aviator; only 35 examples of this exquisite and ultra-luxurious coupe will be produced, ensuring you’ll be the only Wall Street banker on your block with a car like this.

The special edition Phantom Coupé Aviator pays tribute to the company’s co-founder Charles Stewart Rolls and the 1930’s Supermarine S6B racing seaplane that was powered by a Rolls-Royce “R Type” engine.

The exterior looks pretty standard and is finished in Aviator Grey paint with a matte hood.  The interior is where all the upgrades happen and features a Thommen aviation-grade clock in the center of the dashboard with a black dial, white minute and hour hands, and a red second’s hand.  The clock has two sub-dials, which I’m assuming are for the chronograph functions that are controlled by the three knobs on the outer rim of the clock.  The other gauges have been given black backgrounds to make them match the clock.

The rest of the interior is super-luxurious with orange leather covered seats, dashboard, door panels, and carpets (yes, the carpets are leather!).  Luxurious trims such as mahogany, polished stainless steel and anodized aluminum can be found throughout the “cockpit”.

If you have the means and want a unique car that is beyond luxurious, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Aviator is the car for you.  As for pricing, if you have to ask, you can’t afford it (actually, Rolls-Royce didn’t provide us that information, we’ll update the post if/when we get the info).
