I appreciate the protection an umbrella has to offer when it rains but after the rain has stopped or I’m at my destination, I still have a wet umbrella to deal with. Let’s be honest, nobody like carrying around a wet umbrella. I have seen some umbrellas that catch water but it looks pretty ridiculous and I don’t want to be carrying such a thing. The Kjaro is the perfect umbrella for the urban traveler.
Not that umbrellas are difficult to use but the Kjaro is supposed to be very simple and user friendly. You can wear the Kjaro umbrella after using it and by wear they mean you can hook it on to your luggage, purse, or even on your pants. The umbrella is made in Italy and is the perfect connection between technology, design, and convenience.
The umbrella is equipped with a fill empty drops tank which is the core innovation of this project. The built-in tank collects and safely holds the water regardless of which position you hold the umbrella. When you feel comfortable or are at an appropriate place, you can easily empty the contents of the water tank.
The umbrella also comes with a very easy-to-use case so putting the wet umbrella in is a simple and easy task. There is also a magnetic embracing stripe making it super easy to properly secure and close the umbrella.
The Kjaro is made in Italy so you know the quality will be there and only weighs in at 248 grams with the case and measures in at 12-inches. You also get to customize the umbrella by choosing the color of the case, umbrella, and the handle.
Kjaro the Next Umbrella is currently being funded on Kickstarter until August 29th, 2015 but it already reached its goal in only a couple of days. Depending on how early you can get your pre-order in, the Kjaro umbrella will cost you between 55 to 65 Euros plus shipping. Check out their Kickstarter page for more details or the Kjaro website.
This umbrella is ridiculous beyond words, good grief, talk about a first world `problem’. Who has ever bemoaned about taking a wet umbrella indoors?!? Just give the damned thing a good shake before entering the building! `PROBLEM SOLVED’.
