The Range Rover full-size is one of the most luxurious SUV’s money can buy; step up to the Range Rover Autobiography and the luxury offered is taken to another level, at a very hefty price. But that’s not the most expensive Range Rover one can buy…
Land Rover has collaborated with gun maker Holland & Holland to produce the most expensive Range Rover ever. How expensive is it? The manufacturer suggested retail price is £180,000, that’s the equivalent of $284,500 US at today’s exchange rate.
What does $285k get you? For starters, you get the long wheelbase version of the Range Rover, painted in special green color and some chrome trim and aluminum trim. Most of the upgrades take place on the inside, which looks more like the interior of a private jet than a road-going vehicle.
The back seats have been upgraded with a pair of executive reclining seats with as many available adjustments as are found on the front seats. The automaker has placed a custom center console between the two seats that houses an electronically controlled retractable walnut table. There two screens placed at the back of the front seats and the seats are covered with luxurious brown leather, and come with French walnut and aluminum trim.
The same brown leather is applied to the front seats, dashboard, and the door panels. The inside door handles are beautifully engraved, like H&H guns, and come with the words “Holland & Holland”. The French walnut is also applied to the door trim and front center console.
To top off this exclusive executive SUV, the gunsmith has placed a carbon fiber and aluminum gun box in the trunk, which is covered with brown leather and the interior is line with Alcantara. The gun box, however, is empty; you’ll need to buy your own guns separately.
