Casio has been the official partner of F1 team Red Bull Racing since 2009, RBR has won the driver and constructor’s championships in 2010 and 2011.  Casio has released a new limited edition watch that celebrates the partnership and the concept of “Speed and Intelligence”.  The watch is called the Edifice Red Bull Racing EFR-520RB

The limited edition watch is based on the EFR-520 and features a multi-layer dial with three chronograph sub-dials.  Red Bull Racing’s official colors- red and blue have been applied to the sub-dials and one of the pushers.  The dial also features the Red Bull Racing logo.

Breitling has been producing a line of special edition watches for the famous British (German owned) luxury automaker, Bentley, called “Breitling for Bentley”.  These watches are usually on the expensive side and feature exotic materials.  The watch I’m writing about today is called the limited edition “Breitling for Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon”, it has been around for a while but I just noticed it today and thought I’d bring this masterpiece to our viewers’ attention.

The watch is named after a specialized division of Bentley called Mulliner that employs around a hundred employees who work on custom leather, wood, and metal for interiors of Bentley cars, according to customer specifications.  Check out our recent article on the special edition Bentley Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification car.

Most people fear death and death is considered a sad part of life in many cultures around the world.  However, there are some cultures that celebrate death with music, drinking, laughter, and other festivities – as if to laugh in the face of death.  One such place that celebrates the day of the dead “Dia de los Muertos” is Mexico and to celebrate this day, Swiss watchmaker Romain Jerome has created two limited edition watches.

Autodromo watches were introduced to the world just over a year ago; in fact, we actually wrote a post about the company early last year. But what’s so special about them? Well, simply put, Autodromo timepieces combine our love of watches and cars into a neat little package. These watches feature dials that take inspiration from automobile gauges from the 60’s and 70’s, a most excellent aesthetic.
