Saw that fits in your pocket

Pocket Chainsaw – Good Things Come In Small Packages

Saw that fits in your pocket

Having a chainsaw is one hell of a handy tool to have around the house. A motorized chainsaw is obviously not for everyone. And your standard saw is a good alternative to the motorized chainsaw but it’s still not compact enough. The solution is the Pocket Chainsaw.

The Pocket Chainsaw is perfect for hacking things up such as tree limbs that are getting in the way of the drive way or perhaps the perfect accessory for a camping trip. What makes the Pocket Chainsaw so ideal is the size and its capabilities. It’s small enough to transport in your pocket yet large enough for the job. You could say it’s a grower! 😉

DIY Privacy Monitor – Lets Only You See What’s On Your Monitor

Tired of people trying to have a peak at what you’re looking at on your computer monitor?  I currently don’t have that problem but did have it when I used to work in an office and every time someone visited me in my cubicle, while talking to me, they’d always try to read MY emails or whatever was on the screen.  A user at instructables.com has come up with a very nice solution for this problem, although I wouldn’t recommend doing this to your work computer.

Instructables user dimovi took a regular monitor and turned it into a “Privacy Monitor” that displays a white screen to everyone except those wearing special glasses.  So what do you need to turn your monitor into the one pictured above?  Check out the instructions below:

Office Intimidation – Pale Horse Machete Ruler

We really like normal stuff that looks like weapons; we also really like normal stuff that looks like guns. Finally, we can round out the threatening nature of our everyday lives with this killer machete ruler by Pale Horse Design. I feel like keeping this laser engraved bad boy on the edge of your desk would really cut down on the amount of assholes wandering into your office asking about TPS reports.

Staple less Stapler

The Staple-less Stapler

I haven’t used a stapler in a long time, back in the day I used to be a low level office clerk and I had to staple and un-staple documents for the bosses on a daily basis (yes, life sucked back then).  The stapling part wasn’t that hard, it was the un-stapling that was annoying.

Well, if you hate un-stapling as much as I do, here’s a neat little staple-less stapler that doesn’t use any of those annoying sharp staples.  Instead, it punches a small hole in the paper and makes a butterfly fold, see video below.

Ikea Cardboard Camera- What Won’t They Make?

Global home making monster company Ikea has spent years coming up with new and exciting ways to make all the things you need out of the least expensive materials possible while still maintaining some modicum of function. While most of us have at least one piece of press board with a name that includes about ten too many vowels, there are some lines we draw when it comes to what we’ll let Ikea make for us. They’ve slowly branched out to encompass everything in the home, as well as tchotchkes and lifestyle accessories. But with the announcement of a new TV, and now the Ikea cardboard camera called Knäppa, the Swedish brand is looking to revolutionize design for our electronics too.

Assassins Creed 3 Tomahawk Replica 3

Assassin’s Creed 3 Tomahawk Replica

I’m not as much of a gamer as Chad and I rarely never write about video games.  Chad takes care of all the video game news and does a great job.  You’ve probably noticed quite a few posts on the latest Assassin’s Creed game over the last few months as we approach its release date of October 31, 2012, but we haven’t yet written about the sweet weapon Connor uses in the game.

With Connor’s Native American background, his weapon of choice is the Tomahawk, which is a perfect weapon for chopping down Templars.  Now you, too, can own a replica of the Assassin’s Creed 3 Tomahawk, although we recommend that you don’t kill any Templars.  Leave that to the professionals.

Cut Tex Pro Slash Resistant Fabric e1351234874222

Cut-Tex® PRO Slash Resistant Fabric by PPSS Group

It seems that if you live on the “eastside” of any major city, it happens to be the “bad” neighborhood or at least it has been in my experience with “East Saint Louis” and “East Vancouver”. I’m sure there are a few good “easts” out there somewhere. Anyways, if you happen to be working the graveyard shift at the local convenience store or passing through the shady part of town, the Cut-Tex® PRO slash resistant fabric might be just the thing that you need to keep you protected.

The Cut-Tex® PRO cut resistant fabric was showcased at the 2012 Special Equipment Exhibition & Conference for Anti-Terrorism (SEECAT) in Tokyo. The material is developed and produced by the PPSS Group based in the UK. The company’s main focus is to produce equipment/clothing which offers protection from firearms, edged weapons, and yes, people that bite.
