Android SmartWatch From Sony

It wasn’t that long ago when somebody at the mall, grocery store, or bus stop would ask you questions about the type of watch you were wearing. These days, if they are socially capable, they will most likely ask you about the type of phone you have and its features.

I think it’s about time the wrist gets some action again (clean thoughts guys). The Sony SmartWatch is not only an attractive piece of hardware but features plenty of “smarts”. The Sony SmartWatch features a 1.3-inch OLED touch screen display, Bluetooth 3.0, and has enough battery life to last up to four days.

The SmartWatch connects to your Android smart phone and allows you to read texts/e-mails, receive updates from social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, control music playback, answer/initiate calls, and run applications optimized for the SmartWatch from Google Play.

You can wear the Sony SmartWatch on a wristband like a normal watch or you can clip it to your shirt, pants, bag, etc. The SmartWatch retails between $94.99 – $150 for those of you who are interested in adding yet another gadget to your collection. For me, the only thing that is staying on my wrist is a real mechanical watch.
