Ever find that your iTouch or iPhone screen is simply not big enough to truly enjoy the capabilities of what the device has to offer?

“Light Touch is an interactive projector that instantly transforms any flat surface into a touch screen. It frees multimedia content from the confines of the small screen, allowing users to interact with that content just as they do on their hand held devices – using multi-touch technology.”

I’m not quite sold on the Light Touch and functionality just yet but the idea of it is very intriguing. The system uses a technology called Holographic Laser Projection which allows the Light Touch to create bright and high quality video images in WVGA resolution. Infrared sensors are able to detect motion which turn the projected image into a 10:1” virtual touch screen allowing the user to control the projector and interact by simply touching the displayed image.

We’ve all heard about the Segway and how it ended up being a big flop. Well, I think I’ve just found the water version of that. What I’m referring to is the Aquaskipper.

I love the summer weather and being out and about near the water, beaches, boats, pools, inner tubes, jet skis, etc. When I first heard about the Aquaskipper and it was only being described to me, I thought it was a pretty sweet device. But then I saw a demonstration video and my opinion changed. I must say, the idea of it is pretty cool but the whole package just doesn’t work for me.

Down in the south (Texas), seeing people with diamonds in their mouths is a normal thing. Southern rap artists have made owning a diamond encrusted grill a “cool” thing and teenagers down there save their money for their first set of grillz – not their first car.

I think Nelly and Paul Wall might want to take a little trip to India and meet up with optometrist, Chandrashekhar Chawan, who is the creator of the diamond contact lenses. Chawan’s company, Shekhar Eye Research, is offering the contact lenses in four different designs: gold, white gold, 18 diamonds on gold and 18 diamonds on white gold.
