I recently found out about this very handy little gadget called the Water Leak Alarm. This thing reminds me of a little water filter and is able to detect even the tiniest of water drops when it gets close to the alarm.
This thing is very easy to use as there is no programming involved or buttons to push. Simply place the alarm in any area that can be potentially flooded such as under sinks, in the basement near main pipes, toilets, water heater, and close to a washing machine.
