Cut-Tex® PRO Slash Resistant Fabric by PPSS Group

It seems that if you live on the “eastside” of any major city, it happens to be the “bad” neighborhood or at least it has been in my experience with “East Saint Louis” and “East Vancouver”. I’m sure there are a few good “easts” out there somewhere. Anyways, if you happen to be working the graveyard shift at the local convenience store or passing through the shady part of town, the Cut-Tex® PRO slash resistant fabric might be just the thing that you need to keep you protected.

The Cut-Tex® PRO cut resistant fabric was showcased at the 2012 Special Equipment Exhibition & Conference for Anti-Terrorism (SEECAT) in Tokyo. The material is developed and produced by the PPSS Group based in the UK. The company’s main focus is to produce equipment/clothing which offers protection from firearms, edged weapons, and yes, people that bite.

Coolest Fan in the World – Dyson Bladeless Fan

About a year ago Dyson, famous for their cool vacuums, introduced a fan with no blades.  Now that had to be the coolest fan ever and most definitely a conversation piece.  Dyson has now added two bigger models to their lineup, a 40 inch tower fan and a pedestal fan.

The fact that I’m talking about these fans alone makes them super cool, because I don’t remember the last time I brought a fan into a conversation.  These fans range in price from $300 to $450.  Not bad prices if you have money to blow, pun intended.

Dripping Paint Table by John Nouanesing

John-Nouanesing-Dripping-Paint-Table

It’s not every day you see the Unfinished Man talk about a table; however, this is no ordinary table and deserves some recognition.

The table is called “Paint or Die But Love Me” is designed by John Nouanesing and at first glance it looks like a rectangular piece floating in the air, which has just been drenched in paint and the paint is dripping all over the floor.  John makes clever use of the paint drippings to give this table its legs.  The table is currently in concept stage is not available for sale. We hope it makes it into production because this would make for a pretty cool piece in your man cave/entertainment room.
