Get Rid of Shoe Funk with the ShUVee Shoe Deodorizer

A while back, I wrote an article which contained some useful tips on getting rid of bad odor from shoes. After a crazy long day of walking, you don’t want to be anywhere close to me when I take my shoes off. The fumes are considered to be weapons of mass destruction according to some experts (my family).

Many of those tips in that article are great but I recently came across another option which seems promising. I personally haven’t tried it yet but I’m really considering it.  The product I speak of is called ShUVee Shoe Deodorizer and it can get rid of that funky smell in about an hour’s time. The system uses an ultraviolet light which help kill over 95% of germs, bacteria, and fungus which is responsible for creating that smell in the first place.

Android SmartWatch From Sony

It wasn’t that long ago when somebody at the mall, grocery store, or bus stop would ask you questions about the type of watch you were wearing. These days, if they are socially capable, they will most likely ask you about the type of phone you have and its features.

I think it’s about time the wrist gets some action again (clean thoughts guys). The Sony SmartWatch is not only an attractive piece of hardware but features plenty of “smarts”. The Sony SmartWatch features a 1.3-inch OLED touch screen display, Bluetooth 3.0, and has enough battery life to last up to four days.

Vision Toaster warming up

Review: The See Through Vision Toaster by Magimix

All toasters are not created equal and the Vision Toaster by Magimix is one prime example of going above and beyond the call of toaster duty. To be honest, I never thought I would be calling a toaster sexy but here I am doing just that. The Vision Toaster is something that you want to display in the kitchen thanks to its striking and attractive design.

The world’s first see through toaster features toughened glass viewing windows so you can watch as your toast or bagel evenly browns. This way, you will always have the perfect toast without it getting burnt. The toaster features four quartz elements in the corners of the appliance rather than the metal elements like traditional toasters which allows for the viewing window. The Vision Toaster comes pre-programmed with four functions: toast, bagel, reheat, and defrost. It also has a center twist knob to determine the darkness of your bread with settings 1 through 8.

Hop: The Suitcase That Follows You

Considering the innovative concept of Hop, the suitcase that autonomously follows its owner, it’s easy to be intrigued by the idea. However, my recent international trip, …

Foldboat – The Boat That Folds

Here’s something you don’t see every day, a real working boat that can be folded and unfolded just like the paper boats we used to make when we were kids.  The boat is called Foldboat (obviously) and is the brainchild of British designers Max Frommeld and Arno Mathies.  The idea for the Foldboat came during a paper-folding workshop (I didn’t know such workshops existed) where participants used single pieces of paper to create various objects.

The Foldboat is made out of a single hard-shell seamless piece of plastic with live hinges.  When the boat is opened up, it measures 8.2 feet (2.5 meters) long and when not in use; it folds into a 59.1” x 31.5” (150cm x 80cm) package.

Garmin Head-Up Display navigation system

Garmin Head-Up Display Navigation System

If you’ve been paying attention to automotive news, you might have notices a trend, the inclusion of head-up display (HUD) on many of the newer luxury cars.  HUD is nothing new, but it seems lately many of the higher-end carmakers are putting them on their cars.

Unfortunately, not everyone can buy a BMW or a Mercedes, just to have HUD display.  But fear not, we have a solution for all your head-up display needs; well, we don’t have a solution, but Garmin does.  The Garmin Head-Up Display navigation system works with your smart phone by receiving navigation information from your phone via Bluetooth and projecting onto the windshield.  You do need to have the Garmin StreetPilot or NAVIGON apps.
