Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car

991 Based Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Race Car

The all-new Porsche 911 Carrera (code named 991) has been on the roads for about a year now and the German sports car maker finally unveiled the racing version of the car, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, yesterday.

The new 911 GT3 Cup race car is based on the 7th generation 911 and like previous Porsche cup cars, the new one looks very similar to the road going version with a few changes, of course.  The interior, on the other hand, is barebones (as one would expect in a race car) with none of the luxuries found on the road going car.  The interior features a carbon fiber bucket seat, a full roll cage, a bunch of switches and buttons, and a digital gauge.
