How to Build a WordPress Porn Site

Very often, we happen to read articles and news on WordPress blogs. Admittedly, WordPress has been the hot favorite of many businesses and individuals. No wonder, WordPress is the most popular blogging platform. WordPress websites are one of the most feature-rich sites built with minimum HTML. To start a WordPress porn site, you need not have extensive knowledge of web design. You just need to have the passion to start a blog or a website. Why is working on WordPress so easy? Because, it is a complete “Content Management System.” A Content Management System allows you to easily add, modify and delete content. You can do so by using the built-in visual editor. The hassles of coding can be overcome with WordPress.

Well, the question is- Can you build a porn site by using WordPress? Of course, adult Webmasters like you and me can conveniently use WordPress for starting a porn site. Here is brief note on how to build a porn site using WordPress.

Domain Registration and Adult Friendly Web Hosting

The first and foremost step is to register a domain by choosing a website name that conveys the type of industry your business is into. Most of the adult web hosting providers allow you to register your domain through them. Some of the adult web hosting providers offer domain name registration for free. This generally happens if you are a new customer or signed up for the first time. Check for the availability of the domain and subsequently register it.

Caution with Adult Hosting Providers

Choose a hosting provider who promises reliability, scalability, security and 24 / 7 customer service. Initially, most of the adult hosting providers guarantee decent bandwidth. After a few days, they turn a blind eye to your site requirements. They urge you to opt for an advanced plan by saying that your site consumes too much of bandwidth. There will be hidden charges as well. Do not forget to read the terms and conditions. Do not sign contracts blindly. In case of any breach of conduct, your adult website business may go for a bigtime toss.

M3 Server

I want to share with you the Hosting Company that definitely represents A+++ quality when it comes to Web hosting.

I have been in this adult industry business for the past 10 years. All my websites run on M3 Server managed hosting. I am glad that I never had any issue with M3 Server. They provide fully functional control panel with high server performance. With dedicated servers, you get two IPs. You may use one of the IPs for your standard adult sites. In case you intend your websites to comply with SSL encryption rules and regulations, you may use the second IP. I prefer the latter option as safety and security cannot be written off.

The best thing about M3 Server is that all the MySQL and PHP applications including WordPress can be deployed without any hassles. M3 Server provides various services such as:

  • Web Server service
  • Email Server service
  • Internet Server service
  • Database Server service

WordPress Installation

WordPress installation is a simple five – step procedure. It is really quick and needless to say, easy as well. Just follow the enlisted step – by – step instructions:

Step 1: Download WordPress

WordPress can be downloaded as a zip file from WordPress.org.

Step 2: Upload WordPress

Once you have downloaded WordPress, just upload it to your web hosting service provider. Essentially, this is done in two ways:

  • Via FTP or
  • Through cPanel

cPanel stands for Control Panel. For all intents and purposes, it is a Linux-based panel that contains graphical interface and automation tools which smoothen the process of hosting a website. FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. For your information, FTP is a standard network protocol that facilitates transfer of files from clients to servers and vice-versa.

It is suggested to upload the WordPress zip file through the cPanel as the cPanel is equipped with a Database Wizard, which will be elaborated in the subsequent step i.e., Step 3. Upload the zip file to the root folder and unzip the file. Ensure that you transfer all the contained files from the WordPress folder to the root folder.

Step 3: Database Configuration

Whenever people hear the word ‘database’, they tend to relate it with some technical stuff. To put in simple terms, a database is just a mechanism by which you can store and manage data. It is a simple process and people unnecessarily complicate it. Most cPanels come with a feature called Database Wizard. This feature enables users to create a database. As an administrator of the database, you can give a handful of users certain or all privileges. Remember the database name, username and password. I recommend you to save the details in an Excel sheet. After all, human memory cannot be trusted!

Step 4: Establish connection between Database and WordPress

If you have comfortably completed Step 3, you will see a pop – up that prompts you to install WordPress. If you do not see any WordPress, then something went wrong. Sometimes, you may need to associate the name-servers with the website name. For your information, a name-server is nothing but a computer that is always connected to the internet. It translates domain names into IP addresses.

Once the first screen prompts, ensure that you paste the correct database credentials. Any discrepancy will result in termination of connection between Database and WordPress. We suggest you to change the name table. Try to rename it without wp prefix. It shall be difficult for hackers to hack your site.

Step 5: Website Set-up

Once you establish a connection between WordPress and database by filling in the relevant database credentials, WordPress will prompt you to enter the website information. In addition, you will be prompted to provide admin information as well. Once you provide the correct details, login to WordPress account. You can start making changes to your site.

Now that your WordPress site is completely installed, tweak it and configure the look and feel of the site by choosing a theme. Update the content regularly.

Note: Most of the genuine adult hosting providers such as M3 Server have one-click WordPress installation feature. Thanks to this feature, users can install WordPress in a single click.

Just Another WordPress Site: In most of the blogs, you must have observed this sentence- Just Another WordPress Site. You can remove it by following the path: Settings -> General

Adult WordPress Themes

I have been using one of the Adult Site Skins adult WordPress themes for my adult tube site and adult gallery site. Adult Site Skins themes come in various color schemes. Layouts of the themes are simple and highly profitable. As a result, you can embed videos with a simple HTML code snippet. There is a dedicated widget space which can be used for displaying ads and affiliate banners. Adult Site Skins themes help you monetize your adult tube site.

RoboScripts WordPress Theme

When it comes to building an adult camming affiliate WordPress theme, nothing beats RoboScripts. This is one of those themes which import data from leading webcam sites such as BongaCams, Chaturbate, LiveJasmin, Streamate, etc. To be upfront, this theme is essentially a collection of scripts that turn on the autopilot mode of your WordPress blog. There are various ad zones supported by this theme. You can leverage the ad zones to monetize with adult display ads and adult affiliate programs.
WordPress Plugins for displaying Adult Advertisements

Without much ado, I would like to ascertain that ads help you make some BIG money. Here are the two plugins for displaying adult advertisements on your WordPress site:

  • Plugz: This a plugin developed by Plugz team of WordPress community. This plugin lets you organize your display ads from the WordPress dashboard. You can create Plugz widgets and add the widgets to each and every piece of your adult content.
  • Plugrush: This WordPress plugin lets you choose and configure the types of WordPress ads you would like to feature on your adult tube site.
WordPress Plugins to Import Adult Affiliate Content
  • iFriends: This is a popular adult cam site. This camming site offers a genuine collection of WordPress plugins which can be used for displaying live feeds. In addition, a few plugins display the availability status of cam models.
  • PornMe: This German cam site allows its models to sell clips to online porn viewers. This plugin can be used to import the adult content of PornMe and feature the same for sale on your site.
  • WP-Script: If you are looking for a plugin that can grab video embed codes from a wide range of adult tube sites, Wp-Script should be your best bet.
  • wpXtube: The very purpose of starting an adult WordPress site is to earn money through leading adult affiliate programs. wpXtube helps you leverage a wide range of leading adult affiliate programs.
  • XLoveCam: This WordPress plugin lets you deploy your own auto-blog camming site.

You shall be at a great dis-advantage if you ignore the aforementioned list of plugins and themes. I have a piece of unsolicited advice: It has been more than two years since I started my tube site. I purchased xStreamer product of Adent.io and I found it to be extremely useful. Owing to the magnitude of videos, images, and adult content, it takes a while for adult websites to load. Sometimes, a few adult sites crash due to heavy content. xStreamer comes with a plenty of features that minimize the loading time. While the list of features of xStreamer is exhaustive, there are three modules that require a special mention:

HubTraffic API Integrator

Ever thought of an affiliate program that lets you bulk upload videos from highly popular porn sites such as Redtube, PornHub and Youporn? Well, HubTraffic API integrator lets you do this. Every video that you upload to your adult tube site shall have an affiliate link which lets you make BIG money when properly integrated into your WordPress porn site.

Video Grabber

As the name indicates, this powerful module grabs videos from popular porn sites. Every video thus imported from popular porn sites shall have a title, relevant description, tags, a rotating thumbnail and duration. Videos in almost every possible format can be imported to your adult tube site.

Video Embedder

This adult content collection module lets you download the entire data dump furnished by porn sites and subsequently upload it to your tube site. What else could you ask for?

If you feel something is missing in this blog, drop a line or two in the comments section. I will be happy to hear from you. I always reply to the comments. If you have any queries, shoot them in the comments box. I can help you build a porn site using WordPress. Cheers!

Where the pages list several videos. Right now I can’t figure out how to change it from a blog format. Is there a plugin? Thanks for your time.
