Artist Robert The started making book pieces in 1991; by 2011, he now has an amazing catalog of unique art that is the perfect fit for a man cave. Why settle for wimpy coffee table books when you can have awesome, re-constructable book art that looks like stuff that can kill you? As a guy, you should know that after reading a book and instantly absorbing all useful knowledge, you should do something manly with it, like clubbing a panther to death or propping up the Ferrari you’re working on. Check out a selection of The’s amazing works, or browse his site BookDust, for other less deadly pieces ; click through the jump for more manly adaptations to the simple hardcover novel.

The Brick Testament – The Bible Explained in Lego

The bible is one of those things that stirs up a lot of mixed feelings amongst our readership; regardless of this, it’s safe to say that no matter what you believe in, there are some pretty damn great stories in the good book. Being able to produce endless amounts of free booze, horrific monsters, cataclysmic disasters- it’s got everything you’d want in a multi-billion dollar summer blockbuster. Rather than arguing over what’s theologically sound, we’d rather just enjoy the hilariously vengeful side of God, as offered in gloriously detailed plastic by The Brick Testament. Check out some of these pretty ridiculous, tongue in cheek illustrations of biblical scenes after the jump.

Techno Dream Furniture – TRON designs CORIAN®
April 11th marked the start of Milan Design week, and this year, Disney and DuPont teamed up with a slew of designers to recreate Kevin Flynn’s virtual Safe House from Tron in real, tangible materials. Choosing Corian, an amazing surface material that can be produced in almost any color or finish, can be thermo-moulded, resists heat, scratching, pressure, and direct force, the finished product is pretty unbelievable. Featuring products from Jacuzzi, Luxit, Light Tape, and others, the furniture and house package is a sleek, glowing vision. Outside of desperately needing some sexy siren programs lounging around, I can’t see too many ways the aesthetic could any better represent Tron. The display was shown at Padiglione Visconti in Milano, Italy, and just ended on the 17th. Check out some of the first pictures from the Safe House after the jump.

Legendary Iron: Build Your Own Army of Transformers and Terminators
There’s just something about a giant death dealing robot that gets a man feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Even if you’re not big into cars, you can appreciate that old auto parts can create some bad-ass killer sculptures. Meet Legendary Iron, a user on Zcool.com, who spends most of his days welding scrap iron into giant movie sculptures that look like they’re going to rip you to shreds and then stomp on what’s left of your corpse. Some of his pieces (like the Megatron Tank) have taken up to 2 years to complete, and the detail on others is enough to make you wonder if he doesn’t have some magical elves helping him finish these insane designs. Check out our gallery after the jump, collected from his personal profile of works over the last few years.
