Top Reasons why soup is the ultimate food

I love Soup! but I’m so surprised that many of my friends never cook it. There are so many advantages to making soup; here are my top reasons why soup Is the best food in the world!

Its Healthy
The main ingredients in a soup is primarily vegetables so its no surprise that health is my very top reasons for loving soup. Use soup as a great way to get in those 5 servings of vegetables and help you avoid eating more unhealthy meals.

Its not just vegetables that add the nutrition but soups can also contain Beans, Legumes and meat for protein.

When we get sick the very first thing your loved ones bring over is soup to make you feel better. The possibilities to pack your soup with nutrition is endless!

Its Tasty
Soups are very delicious and versatile! I like soups that are more on the creamy side but my partner prefers clear soup and absolutely lives for tomato soup.

My favorite soup is a Persian noodle soup! Find the recipe here, trust me you will love it!

Its Easy
Making soup is one of the easiest meals to make because most of the cooking is done on its own while its on the stove. If you have the money to spend then I would recommend a pressure cooker to make your soup. It only takes a fraction of the time to cook compared to the stove and the food tastes delicious!

Its Cheap
I almost never buy ingredients for my soups, instead I use whatever I have left over in the fridge. In Fact, even if you were to purchase your ingredients every time, you wouldn’t be spending much, especially if you opt out on meat. Of coarse there are versions of soups that can get a bit pricey but its not a necessity for an amazing tasting soup.

I’m always on the lookout for a great tasting soup, if you have a suggestion let me know in the comment box below!
