Use This One Weird Trick to Make Your Egg Breakfast Taste Amazing

If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s all these “one weird trick” adverts littering the internet. I dislike them almost as much as eating breakfast!

You see, categorically I’ve never been a huge fan of breakfast. Traditionally, I didn’t have much of an appetite when I woke up in the morning, and let’s be honest here… if you avoid grains like I do, then you can’t afford to be unimaginative when it comes to the most important meal of the day. Eating a bit of meat and some eggs day in and day out?

Been there, done that. Believe me… I eat a lot of eggs.

So what’s a man to do? We can’t just skip breakfast. So here’s a little trick…

Here’s How to Make Anything Taste Good

Are you ready for it? I’m about to tell you something so obvious, you’ll wonder why you hadn’t already thought of it. That… or you’ll wonder why the hell I wrote an entire article about…

Spices!

The secret, the answer, is spice – especially hot sauce.

I had this idea in my head that salt and pepper were the only appropriate “spices” for breakfast, and after having tried some Scotch Bonnet hot sauce with my breakfast, I’m a changed man.

People generally only cook eggs a few different ways: scrambled, boiled, or fried. There is only so much you can do with eggs themselves, but add in a bit of spice and the options are virtually unlimited. I have a few favorites of my own – mostly Yellow Scotch Bonnet – but make sure to experiment and see what you like.

The best part is that spices can be used to, well… spice up just about any meal. I’m extremely lazy when it comes to matters of cooking, so I’m always looking for ways to simplify the cooking experience. Let me tell you, you can’t really go wrong with spices. I usually just end up dumping various spices on my meals and it usually works out fine.

Worst case I use too much and a gastric emergency, but I mean really… we’ve all shit our pants at one point or another, right?
