Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin has been in continuous operations for 260 years, to celebrate, the watchmaker has produced the world’s most complicated watch.
The watch is called the Vacheron Constantin Reference 57260, the reference number refers to the 57 complications featured in the watch and 260 years of watch making. The pocket watch consists of an astonishing 2,800 components and is the result of 8 years of R&D, and is produced by three master watchmakers. It is a one-off piece commissioned by one of the world’s top watch collectors, whose identity is currently unknown.
The pocket watch consist of a dial on the front and back of the watch and comes in a large 98mm wide, 131.7mm tall, and 50.55mm thick case.
