Unfinished Man Review – iStubble by Conair For Men

To shave or not to shave, that is the question I ask myself almost every day. As much as I like the clean shaven look, there are times that I like to have stubble. There are a few reasons why I like to have stubble. The first reason is that the scruffy looks sophisticated in my opinion. The second reason is that I sometimes want to switch it up and attract older women and the clean shaven baby face gets in the way. And when I do grow the perfect length of hair on my face, it’s only for one day because the next day it’s too long for my liking. I’m very picky about the amount of stubble I have and you can see how this can become annoying for me. I’m positive that I can’t be the only guy in this situation. But thankfully, I no longer have to worry thanks to the i-Stubble by Conair.

I’ve already used the i-Stubble beard trimmer several times now and I like the results that I get after using it. The beard trimmer is well designed, light weight, and easy to handle. The trimmer features three buttons and is very easy to figure out. The two upper buttons control the length settings while the lower button is the power button. The beard trimmer features 15 ultra-precise length settings ranging from 5mm in length all the way down to 0.4mm (2 day stubble) in length.  I plan on staying in the 0.4mm to 1.0mm range depending on my mood. The ‘i-Stubble’ also has an easy to read digital display which shows the current setting for the length and battery life. And speaking of battery life, the i-Stubble features a rechargeable battery and can hold a charge for 45 minutes.

Another feature that I really like is that the length settings are electronically controlled. With the push of a button, the length is adjusted right before your eyes. Using the trimmer was extremely easy and surprisingly comfortable. After using it several times, the trimmer hasn’t managed to pull any hair out. The floating contour head probably has a lot to do with it as it hugs the curves on my face for a precise trim.

There are not a whole lot of negative things I can say about the Conair i-Stubble. The only part of trimming that I found annoying was on my upper lip right under my nose (on the 0.4mm setting). I had to make multiple passes in this area at different angles to get it right as well as plenty of stretching of my skin so all the hair is equal in length. Other than that, this is the perfect product for guys that want the scruffy look and dread taking the blade to their face every few days.

The i-Stubble by Conair for Men is available for purchase on Amazon for only $38.99.
