I don’t mind doing the laundry but putting away all that crap is such a pain in the you know what. You have to sort through socks, fold things, hang things, and sometimes even iron the clothing. And not only that but you also have to risk damaging your clothes. Thanks but no thanks! Here is where Swash – Express Clothing Care System might come into play.
Although the Swash system is not exactly designed to replace the washing machine, it does help reduce the act of doing laundry and dry cleaning. The Swash system is more of a “clothing restoration” machine which de-wrinkles, deodorizes, and restores the shape of your garments in as little as ten minutes. From the looks of it though, unfortunately you can only do one piece of clothing at a time which means an entire load of shirts and pants will likely take just as long as regular laundry if not more. Below are a few videos of how the system works.
What Is Swash Clothing Care System?
How it Works
I called their customer service number to find out more about the machine since not all the details were available on their website. What the Swash system doesn’t do is remove stains from clothing. But let’s be honest, how often do we stain our clothes? If you have kids or work in a environment where you will get dirty, then that’s a different story. The customer service rep also told me that each time you use the Swash system, you need to use one of their Swash Tide Pods which cost $6.99/12 pack. The Swash Clothing Care System itself costs $499 and is available in black or white.
If you have disposable income and use dry cleaning services often, then the Swash system may be right for you. As for the rest of us, I think we’ll stick to doing laundry the traditional way. No no, I don’t mean sitting there riverside with a washboard and a bar of soap. The good ol’ washing machine and dryer is what I’m referring to.
