Review: VISS Sonic Microdermabrasion System

The people that brought you the VISS Beauty IPL Hair Reduction system have recently released a new product to give you awesome, younger looking skin. The VISS Sonic (Ultrasonic) Microdermabrasion is designed to exfoliate the skin, remove dead skin cells, and clear pores without the need to go to a spa.

Microdermabrasion, also referred to as microderm, is one of the easiest and most effective anti-aging treatments one can get. Microdermabrasion also helps soften fine lines and wrinkles, helps with decreasing the appearance of scarring, smooths coarsely textured skin, and reduces age spots.

Getting the treatments at spas can be pricey and you have to visit multiple times to see results and the inexpensive home microdermabrasion treatment scrubs can be too abrasive and can irritate the skin. But the VISS Ultrasonic can give you spa like results in the comfort of your own home. The Ultrasonic uses technology similar to that of Hydra Facial. The system we see here uses high-frequency waves which cause 40,000 vibrations per second helping remove dead skin cells and other debris. The ultrasonic also has the ability to infuse the skin with vitamins and nutrients such as Vitamin C.

I’ve tried the Ultrasonic on and off for over two months now. Being in my late 20’s, I don’t have any fine wrinkles that the Ultrasonic can help soften but I did notice immediate results in terms of how smooth my skin felt after using the system. I also noticed a reduction in blackheads on the nose as well as less shine from oil production. It’s a pretty interesting feeling as you move the Ultrasonic across your skin. It’s pretty much like mini vibrating massage on your skin. When using the ultrasound feature, make sure you apply water to your face and the areas you plan to use the Ultrasonic on are wet. There is a low setting and a high setting depending on gentle you want the massage to be. As you run the Ultrasound head across the skin, you will notice fine mist which is caused by the 40,000 vibrations across your wet skin. It almost looks like there is steam rising from the skin.

I mentioned the the system can also infuse vitamins into the skin and is done via Iontophoresis. This is a trans-dermal delivery system where a substance such as Vitamin C is introduced into the body by applying a low electrical current. When I used it, it wasn’t painful or uncomfortable in any way. It consisted of a minimal tingling sensation across the skin. This method of delivering vitamins is safe for all skin types according to the company. This method is supposed to be a better way delivering vitamins to the skin when compared to traditional lotions and creams.

The VISS Sonic can be used on the face, arms, legs, chest, back, and abdomen. And if you really wanted, you an also use this system on your underarms and bikini areas for the ladies.

The VISS Sonic costs $295 and a very affordable alternative when compared to spa treatments for the very same thing. Check out VISS Beauty for more details on this product and their proven Hair Reduction system.
