I’m a big fan of Formula 1, however I don’t usually get a chance to talk about it. Now there is something to talk about, the upcoming Korean Grand Prix. We’ve heard a lot about the track still not being ready for racing (less than two weeks before the grand prix weekend) and there is a good chance the race could be canceled. It would be unfortunate if the track is not finished by race day because judging by the Red Bull simulation video below, the track looks incredible.
The Korean track reminds me a lot of the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. The Korean track is also built by a marina (designed by the same designer Hermann Tilke) and is supposed to feature city racing. The city and buildings haven’t been built yet; they’ll be built over the next few years, making this a very exciting street circuit.
