Rebecca Black’s Follow Up to “Friday” – My Moment

Friday by Rebecca Black is hands down the “Viral Video of 2011” and not in a good way either. In only a few months, her original ‘Friday‘ music video has reached over 167 million views. It’s the most “disliked” video on YouTube,  and we’ve long since lost track of the number of parodies and covers people have done of that song. But Rebecca Black is one hell of a trooper and is back with her latest single, My Moment.

As you’re about to see for yourself, it certainly is… something.

My Moment tells a story of her sudden rise to fame and proving the non-believers wrong. As we all know, any publicity is good publicity, and she’s definitely taking advantage of it. Rebecca Black already has a 5-track EP in the works that she’ll release in August 2011; pretty impressive for someone so young, and so completely lacking in talent. Her latest single, My Moment, goes on sale at iTunes Tuesday.

Will her latest single go viral like Friday did? And will everybody jump on the bandwagon and “dislike” the video because it is the “cool” thing to do? We’ll find out in the next few days.

  1. You know, I listened to this last night and I have to say, this is by far one of the worst songs I’ve heard in my life. This girl has an annoying voice, and says stupid things. This song isn’t about anything, and it’s not even as catchy as her last one. The fact that she can afford such high production values makes me weep for the future of the human race.

    • I don’t know why everyone’s “hating” on her, she’s just as bad as Justin Beaver, Selena Hoe-mez, or Miley “Man Voice” Cyrus. Let her make her millions too 😉
