Primeday by Teddie Films – An Awesome Rebecca Black Parody

I decided to post Primeday after I realized that I should share my pain with the world, like an angst filled teenager uploading  poorly scribbled drawings on Deviantart.

As you prepare to watch this, you’re probably asking yourself “What could possibly be wrong with a video that makes fun of Rebecca Black?” and at first glance I would have agreed with you. What happens very quickly, though, is that you hear the voice of an extremely androgynous looking person singing in the vocal range of Rebecca Black.

The Voice of Doom

Now, to hear the voice of a young teen come out of the mouth of a young teen is, well – understandable, but to hear its piercing tones pour forth from the face of a creepy looking Asian adult is just terrifying. That… or I have a thing with voices – one of the two.

If you can get past the terrifying actor who plays Leia, you’ll probably find the parody pretty entertaining. Most of the characters look stoned out of their minds, which is understandable given the nature of the video. I’m guessing that Rebecca Black was also on some sort of drugs when she wrote the lyrics to her song, so fair enough. The difference between the original version of Friday and “Primeday” is that one of these two people wrote a song that they felt was “serious”, while the other group realized that a song like Friday really isn’t serious business, and made fun of it mercilessly. For that, my hat is off to you, good sirs.
