Speake-Marin watches are relatively new in the luxury watch market; the company was founded by Englishman Peter Speake-Marin in the year 2000. 2015 marks the first time the company will be participating in the Only Watch charity auction. The watch being offered on the auction block is the Speake-Marin Resilience “One Art”.
The one-off watch is based on the Resilience watch; for the auction, it comes in a beautiful Piccadilly 18k rose gold case measuring 38 mm. The dial is finished in white enamel, which doesn’t tarnish over time. The dial is very clean looking with black Roman numerals, blue steel hour and minute hands, and 18k rose gold second hand. The crown is also set apart from a regular Resilience watch, it is set with a 0.2 carat blue sapphire, which matches the blue hands.
The Speake-Marin Resilience “One Art” watch is powered by a Vaucher 3002 caliber self-winding automatic movement with a 50 hour power reserve. Via: Speake-Marin
