Mercedes teamed up with Italian motorcycle maker, MV Agusta, to showcase the one-off concept MV Agusta F3 800 AMG motorcycle at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The sports bike is painted in “AMG solarbeam” color, which is the Mercedes-AMG GT sports car’s color, both of these machines were showcased side by side at the show.
Other than matching paint jobs and AMG lettering on the F3 motorcycle, there aren’t any improvements made to the bike. It’s more of a marketing exercise and purist probably aren’t happy with it. I personally think the concept bike looks absolutely stunning in this orange-ish color and the F3 800 is already a very serious bike with lots of performance and electronic goodies.
The MV Agusta F3 800 motorcycle is powered an inline three-cylinder 798 cc engine, producing 148 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 64.9 pound-feet (88 Nm) of torque at 10,600 rpm, with a dry weight of 382 pounds (173 kg). Via: MB
