Flox The Words, By Frédéric Sofiyana – Rasta Meets The Fountain?

Over the course of my short existence, I’ve realized that there are many genres of music that I don’t personally enjoy listening to, but can appreciate how other people would – genres such as Rasta, for instance. There is one exception to this rule, though, and that would be country music, which is always terrible… always. So with that in mind, I present to you a video by Frédéric Sofiyana called “Flox The Words”.

Though I’m no expert, the song appears to be inspired by a Rastafarian version of the character “Tommy” from The Fountain. I’ve watched the video many times and have no idea what he’s actually singing about, but found the art direction and visuals to be quite unique; I especially like the slightly desaturated colors and lighting.
