The original Deus Ex meets Die Hard. That’s the pitch from Interdimensional Games, touting their newly launched Kickstarter for Consortium: The Tower. The second game of a planned trilogy, here’s the official description. “The Tower is a role-playing game in which you play as yourself, and you’ve being given the opportunity to physically control a man in a parallel world. His name is Bishop Six, and he’s a field agent for the Consortium, a powerful peacekeeping force in the not-quite-utopic future of 2042.” Here’s the pitch video.
Sounds pretty ambitious. They’ve got one game in the can already (Currently on sale 80% off on Steam), so they’re a major step up on most gaming Kickstarters. It’s something to keep an eye on, that’s for sure. More details are available on the Kickstarter page.
