We’ll kick off our coverage of the “Only Watch” charity even with this beautiful Girrard-Perregaux ww.tc watch.  Although the watch dial is quite busy with three sub-dials and lots of city names and numerous additional numbers, it still looks quite nice, I usually don’t like busy dials but the ww.tc watch is singing to me.

The white and red colors on the dial represent the colors of Monaco flag, the white single piece watch-case middle is constructed out light-weight titanium oxide and the bezel is made out of ceramic.  It has a nice contrast to the soft looking black rubber strap with black DLC titanium buckle.

I’ve wanted to buy a pocket watch for quite some time now but can’t seem to find one that has a vintage look to it, at a decent price.  I might have to do a 180° turn and go for something totally futuristic like the Kisai Rogue Touch LCD Pocket Watches.

The limited edition pocket watches are a futuristic take on the traditional time telling devices with a hybrid LED/LCD interface.  The touch screen LCD display is always on to show the time while the LED light can be turned on at the touch of your finger.  The watches feature dual time zones, an alarm, date function, and animation.

Casio’s latest G-Shock watch is the Frogman (GF-8250ER-2Jf), which is a part of their “Men In Military Colors” collection but instead of the traditional army camouflage colors, this watch is painted in the less familiar navy camouflage color.

The watch case is painted “battleship grey” and the rubber strap is a steel blue color, giving the watch a look that’s quite different from other G-Shock watches.

Fans of The Dark Knight Rises have two reasons to celebrate; Diesel has just released information on a pair of watches inspired by Batman and Bane from the latest Batman movie.  Unfortunately, you won’t be able to wear the watches to see the movie in theaters because they won’t be available until November, besides, wearing movie themed clothes/watches etc. to see that movie is not as cool as many people think.

The two watches are based on Diesel’s SBA line, which stands for “Super Bad Ass”, a little on the cheesy side IMO.  The watches are said to be limited production and are priced at $325 each, although Diesel didn’t say how many will be produced.

Swiss watchmaker Romain Jerome adds another funky watch to their “DNA” line of watches, called the RJ Art-DNA.  Unlike all the previous watches in this line, the Art-DNA watch doesn’t use exotic materials like ash from a volcano, metal from a DeLorean/Titanic, or dust from the moon.  Instead, it takes its inspiration from contemporary art.

Romain Jerome has collaborated with Swiss artist John M Armleder to create 10 limited edition timepieces.  The dials on the watches come with a skull that has been featured in mural paintings and is said to be inspired by Amerindian culture.

We first introduced you to the stunning Zenith Christophe Colomb watch way back in 2010; since then, Zenith has released a few versions of the watches that I somehow missed.  Today I bring you yet another version of the watch, called the Zenith Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane.

Like the original Christophe Colomb, the Hurricane features the big bubble placed at the 6 o’clock position that is home to the gyroscope-balanced regulator.  The gyroscope module keeps the movement upright, no matter what angle the watch is placed at, which supposedly makes the watch more accurate.
