With the ever increasing popularity of portable computer devices, the lines between work space and relaxation/entertainment space are getting blurred.  We constantly take our iPads and laptops out of our work space and into the living room and other places that used to be strictly used for non-work related things.  I find it very hard to work on a laptop if I don’t have a proper table, sure I can use my lap but it gets pretty hot in a hurry and dragging tables close to couches is not very practical or ergonomic.

There are however, various stands available to help you work more efficiently when you’re not in proper working conditions.  The Lounge-Wood is one of those stands and is one of the more elegant ones I’ve seen in a while.

I have always preferred charcoal barbecue over the more convenient alternative gas barbecue because of that smokey flavor you can only get with an open fire.  But living in an apartment it’s hard to keep a charcoal barbecue because of the amount of smoke it makes, by-laws and bullshit like that, and the time it takes to get the fire going.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve written quite a few times about products from Dyson and for good reason.  Simply put, Dyson makes some of the most eye-pleasing minimalist products that are not only good at doing what they’re supposed to do but they can also be considered as an added design element to a room, particularly their Air Multiplier fans.

Last year we had a chance to review the small 10” table-top Dyson Air Multiplier AM01 fan and yesterday I got a chance to play with the larger oblong Air Multiplier AM02 fan.  Since yesterday was the second day of summer and the temperature was quite high, it was a perfect day to review the AM02 fan.
