Cool Medieval Weapons Push Pins for notes

Medieval Weapons Push Pins

Do you ever leave a Post-It note for your co-worker with an important message to do something yet it never gets done? There is a good chance that the very important note you left for them is one of the many notes left behind by others and has simply become background scenery that gets overlooked.

I bet you anything that your note would have been noticed if you had stabbed it with a sword or an axe! Don’t know about you but if I saw a note with a deadly weapon puncturing it, it would get my attention. Now you too can get your message across with the Medieval Weapons Push Pins.

Lamborghini Aventador Scale Model Costs More Than The Real Thing

worlds-most-expensive-car-model-lamborghini-aventador-scale-model-by-Robert-Gulpan

Most of us mere mortals could never afford to buy an exotic car like the all-new Lamborghini Aventador or a Ferrari 458 Italia.  Some of us settle for the next best thing, a scale model by Hot Wheels or some other toy/scale model manufacturer.  However, if you are looking to buy a Lamborghini Aventador scale model, more specifically, the one created by German model maker Robert Gulpan, be prepared to sell your soul to the devil.

The 1:8 scale model by Mr. Gulpan will cost you at least $4.7 million, yes, you read that right, which far exceeds the price of 10 Lamborghini Aventadors (a real working one has a starting price of around $379,000).

So what’s so special about this car?  Well, for starters, it is a one of a kind and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive fuel for it or worry about crashing it, unless you play with it.  Other features of the scale model include carbon fiber body and chassis, which is lined with 1/1000 mm thread of solid gold.  Everything is hand-crafted and the seats, wheels, and the headlights have diamonds in them; you don’t get diamonds in the real Lamborghini Aventador.  This scale model also holds the record for the world’s most expensive model car.

Minimalist Multi-Touch Glass Keyboard And Mouse

Here’s a cool project from kickstarter.com by Jason Giddings, a multi-touch glass keyboard and mouse.  No this keyboard is not made by Apple but it does use the same less is more mentality.

The multi-touch glass keyboard and mouse are currently in the concept phase and pledges are being taken to make them a reality.  The mouse and keyboard looks very elegant and modern and are sure to be a conversation piece at the office.  They have been designed to make use of existing proven technology and don’t contain any moving parts.  The devices are wireless and will come with rechargeable Lithium Polymer batteries, Bluetooth support, and sound and light which can be disabled.

Pocket-Sized Portable Balloon “House”

With the sad state of the US economy and over 1.3 million home foreclosures, this affordable “house” that can fit in your pocket is probably not a bad idea just in case you need an emergency shelter. Hopefully none of our readers have to go through such a terrible experience.

The pocket-sized portable “house” is the creation of Martin Azura, a Barcelona based designer, whose work focuses on being minimalistic and environmentally friendly. The so-called “house” is basically a large balloon that can fit in your pocket and be used as a shelter in case you can’t make it home and decide to sleep outdoors or something like that.

Honda UNI-CUB – Personal Mobility Device

Details of the Honda UNI-CUB were recently released and the device is the latest in the company’s range of battery powered ‘personal mobility’ gadgets. I don’t know about you guys but all I can think about is Wall-E after seeing the pictures.

The technology in Honda UNI-CUB is borrowed and improved from the Honda U3-X which was first released in 2009 as a personal mobility unicycle. Through extensive testing, the UNI-CUB features a number of improvements over the U3-X starting with a more comfortable seating arrangement.

Laser Cut Meat and Batarangs by MakeIt Labs Open Workshop

It’s tough posting something related to both weapons and The Dark Knight Rises at this point in time, but with respect and remorse for the terrible events in Colorado, I’m posting these home made Batarangs for a couple of reasons. One: they’re awesome, and two: instead of spending way too much money on crappy licensed shit, they were made in a open access workshop, which is one of the coolest ideas I’ve ever heard of. If you’re a weekend warrior, a tool enthusiast, or an unfinished man looking to bang on scrap metal and drink while shooting the shit with other like minded fellows, you’ll probably think it’s pretty cool too.
