The boys over at Think Geek have the right idea. Their Micro-Plus EX 9-in-1 Multi-Tool key ring is the step in the right direction when it comes to having tools on the go. The tiny tool they have features nine tools all built into one unit and also functions as a key ring.

In the past, we’ve brought you guys the AC Adapter Hidden Camera as a relatively affordable option for home security and making sure our significant other isn’t fooling around behind our back. But if you need more area coverage of the space being recorded, the multifunction clock with a built in motion detection night vision camera just might be the gadget that you need.

The camera can be hidden in plain sight, actually tells you the time, and of course will record when motion is detected within 20 feet. And because it has night vision capabilities, it also has the ability to capture footage in conditions with poor lighting. Kickstarter is full of interesting, magical things (and a lot of ridiculously useless crap) and I love trolling around to see who’s  getting funded. It’s a great chance to laugh at the state of humanity or cry over our stupidity, and discover interesting projects that would have otherwise never gotten past the drawing board. So when I found Olly: The Web Connected Smelly Robot, I wasn’t really sure how to classify it. Cutesy, enjoyable technology or totally dumb money sink? I’m going with the former simply because of the name Olly the Smelly Robot and the potential for hilarity.
