Music Concerts – The Perfect “Break from Life”

I think it’s safe to assume that most of you like music. You probably listen to it on your commute to work, on the subway, and when you’re sitting at your desk pretending to get work done. Yes, you even dance to it when you’re out at clubs and concerts. The latter two involve actually spending time with other people, and that’s what I want to focus on.

I have an absolutely massive music collection thanks to the likes of Apple iTunes and other online music buying locations, and that’s great… I can listen to music any time I like from the comfort of my chair, or the torn up seats of the subway. But there’s something special about enjoying music with

Leeside Skateboard Mayhem – The Zenga Bros

Perhaps you’ve noticed, but I don’t usually write about skateboarding, or post up skateboarding videos. As with most activities filmed by amateurs (excluding *ahem*, a certain type of home video), many of them are really awful beyond words. Every so often you see a great one, though, and this video by the Zenga Bros definitely fits the bill.

The footage was captured at the 2011 Leeside Halloween Jam in Vancouver, BC, which is – surprisingly – an event and place I’ve

A Series of Catastrophic Cat Books – The Top 5 Terrible Cat Books

Until recently, I had no idea that the fantasy genre was so littered with anthropomorphic novels featuring telepathic cats who have sex with Lesbians. This illusion was shattered as I walked through the science fiction and fantasy section of my local bookstore. One book became the catalyst on my quest to find the very worst novels that the cat fantasy genre has to offer.

It’s really quite amazing what people are not only willing, but thrilled to write about. As you’re about to see in a moment, the results can be

What A Bollywood Song Sounds Like To A Westerner

Bollywood-DanceI have always wondered what they talk about in Indian songs; there are songs with subtitles but most of the time they don’t really make sense.  None of the subtitles have been as awesome as what you’re about to see below, the song is not translated but rather a humorous take on what the (Tamil) words sound like in English.  I’ve heard this video has been around for a while, this is the first time I’ve seen it and find it extremely entertaining!

Generation M – Qualcomm’s Hilariously Terrible CES 2013 Keynote

You may find this hard to believe, but when it comes to describing this years Qualcomm’s CES keynote, I’m at an almost complete loss for words. I’ve been sitting here frantically trying to string together something that does the clip justice, but I’ve realized something… it’s almost impossible. It’s the type of video that’s so bad you have to see it to believe it.

Let me repeat once more, this is going to be painful. If you manage to make it past the 25 second mark, then you’ll be in the big leagues of internet badassery for surviving, mind intact – or not intact, as is more likely the case – the monstrosity that is this keynote.
