The 9^th generation Porsche 911 Carrera was introduced last year and like previous generations, Porsche has started to slowly release variations of the all-new model.  Today Porsche released pictures and information on the 2013 911 Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S.

The 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and 4S will be offered in coupe and cabriolet versions; the cars are aesthetically identical to the 2-wheel drive Carrera models, introduced last year.  The all-wheel drive versions do come with wider rear fenders which are 22 mm (0.87”) wider on each side compared to the 2-wheel drive models and there is a red reflector strip on the trunk, between the taillights, to differentiate the 4-wheel drive models.

Fans of the Lamborghini Gallardo were probably expecting an all-new car for 2013 but they’ll be disappointed with what Lambo showcased today.  The 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 gets only minor aesthetic upgrades and there is a new special edition model called “Edizione Tecnica”.  Like all the cars we’ve written about this week, the Gallardo will also be presented at the Paris Auto Show.

The Lamborghini Gallardo has been in production since 2005 and hasn’t had a major overhaul ever since; I’m sure fans of the car are probably itching for a completely new car but they’ll have to wait at least one more year.

Get your wallets out boys and girls; the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is here.  The car was unveiled today in Miami, Florida and will make its official international debut at the LA Auto Show at the end of November.

The Aventador coupe is enough of a car to make you grin from ear to ear every time you get behind the wheel, the roadster on the other hand will probably make you smile so hard, your jaw might fall off!  I mean, who wouldn’t be smiling in a car that looks like a jet, with sun in face and wind in hair, and don’t forget about the beast of an engine that sits inches behind the driver and passenger.

The all-new Porsche 911 Carrera (code named 991) has been on the roads for about a year now and the German sports car maker finally unveiled the racing version of the car, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, yesterday.

The new 911 GT3 Cup race car is based on the 7^th generation 911 and like previous Porsche cup cars, the new one looks very similar to the road going version with a few changes, of course.  The interior, on the other hand, is barebones (as one would expect in a race car) with none of the luxuries found on the road going car.  The interior features a carbon fiber bucket seat, a full roll cage, a bunch of switches and buttons, and a digital gauge.

Italian supercar maker, Lamborghini, had announced they’ll be bringing a very special car to the Geneva Motor Show this week, the show hasn’t quite started yet, but we got our hands on some leaked pictures of the car before its official debut.  The car is called the Lamborghini Veneno, and is an extremely limited production model; only three cars will be produced for some very lucky and rich customers.
