World’s Most Expensive Quad: Wazuma V8F

The Wazuma V8F is the quad Batman would ride when his Bat Mobile is in the garage getting serviced.  It’s probably the world’s most expensive and powerful quad; powered by a Ferrari V8 engine that produces 250 horsepower, the quad weighs less than 650 kg (1,430 pounds) and can hit a top speed of 241 km/h (150 mph).  The Ferrari engine is mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox from a BMW M3 placed on the handle bar.

The quad rides on modified Momo (+Power) wheels with 324 mm disc brakes and Brembo calipers.  The quad is equipped with slick tires that measure 285/30 ZR19 in the front and 315/30 ZR18 in the back.  The one-off V8F was created by the French company Lazareth and is based on their Wazuma R1 quad and is currently for sale at jameslist.com for a whopping sum of €200,000, or about $261,000 at today’s exchange rate.

The 2013 Vespa 946 scooter (no it’s not powered by a 946 cc engine) takes its design inspirations from the original World War II era MP6 prototype with modern-day technology.  The Vespa 946’s monocoque is made out of

Flying Hovercraft

The Flying Hovercraft

I’ve always been fascinated with hovercrafts, I don’t really know why?  Maybe because a hovercraft is a boat that flies/glides over water and land, and who doesn’t like a flying boat?  A normal hovercraft is cool but the “Flying Hovercraft”, shown here, not only glides over water and land; it actually takes flight like a plane.

The Flying Hovercraft does everything a regular hovercraft can do but it can also fly up to 50 feet above ground and reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour.  The flying hovercraft takes flight with the help of two lightweight integrated wings and is powered by a fuel-injected turbocharged twin-cylinder engine that produces 130 horsepower.  The flying boat can carry a payload of up to 600 pounds and has a range of 160 miles.
